The Perinatal Pelvic Health Initiative: NHS England

A multidisciplinary webinar with leading speakers, organised by The MASIC Foundation.

Physiotherapy for all women after delivery and dedicated perineal clinics should be fully operational by 2024, as part of the NHS England Long Term Plan.

This webinar examines how the perinatal pelvic health initiative (PPHI) was set up and what the PPHI involves.

We also examine discrepancies in care provision for OASI and pelvic health, and discuss physiotherapy input – as well as pelvic floor training by other healthcare professionals such as midwives and GP Practice nurses.

Schedule of speakers and topics: Webinar – Perinatal Pelvic Health Webinar – NHS England Long Term Plan
